They are out there. I experienced it last night. After the crash, my fiancé reached out to one of her sorority sisters in DC with some benign statement of inquiry, and the girl completely snapped, blamed the crash on Hegseth, then devolved into all sorts of TDS inspired non-sequiturs.
There was a thread on the PT showing some Democrat women (think a Senator or house member) who was blaming Trump within minutes of the crash.

I may be confusing him with someone else, but I seem to remember someone posting they wish Fauci and possibly some other leftist political figures were on the plane
That sounds exactly like something he would post.

in the military this would be the case, and he'd be relieved

Well, this wasn’t someone in the military blaming Trump, it was a Democrat politician.

Yeah if he was the commanding office of that unit. I had a CO get relieved over other people's frickups... but it's not like they relieve the entire chain of command all the way to CiC.
So, no... he wouldn't be relieved as president.

Opening one of these threads and scrolling up to an OML post hoping Antony Blinken gets AIDS always provided a specific type of jolt to my board experience

One of the guys on the Blackhawk was Andrew Eaves. He grew up near Starkville.

Have they said who was piloting the Blackhawk yet?

I haven’t heard anything. I did read in a thread on the PT broad though that had some interesting information. This guy said he was speaking with a friend of his who was a pilot in the NG who is familiar with that airspace. According to this pilot, it’s customary for military helicopter traffic to be limited to no more than 100’ above the river due to civilian traffic at the nearby airport. But apparently this Blackhawk was flying at 400’, far above the norm for that airspace.
I have no idea of any of that is true. Just what someone on the PT board said they heard from a pilot that allegedly knows a thing or two about this area. But, if it is, that would possibly explain how this all happened. And then the question is why was the chopper flying that high?

Going back to the mention of this being a continuity of government training flight, I had forgotten that about the time of the crash, one of the E6B 'doomsday planes' was landing at nearby Andrews AFB.
It really has nothing to do with the incident other than bad timing, but I wonder if the blackhawk was going to eventually head to Andrews so the "pretend VIP being evacuated" could get on the E6B.
i.e. this was more than just 1 helicopter flying a route and possibly involved many aircraft last night in different areas of DC.
Have they given the Blackhawk's point of origin?
Last night there was speculation it had come from right near DCA or had a connection to Ft. Belvoir. Now I'm seeing the maps showing it following the river south from somewhere north of Roosevelt Island.

The Blackhawk was out of Belvoir
