I've quit a bunch of times.

Done some stupid shite while drinking.

I've always admired those that never start ..... but I've always wondered if it really pays off?

Here's what I've learned over time.

Moderation is the key to everything.

That won't help you quit drinking.

Sure it can. If he starts feeling better after quitting then he could feel even better by working out. Just sayin.

I quit a few years ago. The easiest way is to ask God every morning to help you stay off the hooch. He will do it but if you don't hold up your end of the deal then you can expect Him to be justifiably upset. This worked for me.

do you have the ability to moderate? I mean end of the day it's your choice... so if you prefer not to drink then don't, but thats the difference. I had a buddy who I would have never thought of as an alcoholic, but said stuff like this...lost too many productive days at work to drinking..so he quit.

I was like....idk we would just go and get beers...he's like yea...that was the problem...I couldn't stop at just that...shite floored me to hear.

If you arent able to moderate you need to quit

I hit a 3 day split twice a week for the past couple of weeks.

It’s pretty easy. I go in to the gym area on my lunch. I workout and listen to a podcast. I go back to my office.

Makes you strong. Took me a month in to finally see that in myself. I only have 72 days sober but the quality of my relationships have improved significantly.. most importantly with God. Facing your demons head on with a clear and sober head is terribly difficult. Numbing up is the quick and easy solution

This whole not drinking thing is the next big psyop

Your ancestors drank all day and still managed to fight the Romans and now they’re disappointed in you
The average life expectancy in the Roman Age was around -4.5 years.

I read that on the internet, so it’s factually digitally verifiable.

I gave it up. It’s a nice way of life.

My temper has cooled greatly.

Odysseus.

I don’t have hangovers anymore. Don’t wake up dehydrated. Lots of benefits mentally and physically.
