So top golf isn't golf. I guess the bowling alley isn't bowling either?

Have you been to the golf courses here in BR?
I think you know the answer to the other question. That's why I was asking why I would want to go if I'm not going to hit balls

That was my reaction to your response on what the demographics of the city might mean for the potential amount of people that will visit topgolf

Yea, I go to bars and restaurants.
The menus I just looked at for Top Golf is pretty much the exact same as a BJ's Brewhouse. A ton of different shite and probably all average at best. Yea Im skeptical when restaurants have every type of food under the sun, although the Top Golf menu is just a glorified bar menu so maybe its good enough for what its supposed to be.
Dude you know what the hell I meant. You think black people here in BR are going to be flocking to Siegen Lane to go to a place called Top Golf? Thats my point. A good percentage of the population arent even going to give it a thought to set foot in the place.
Thats a big risk imo around here. Arguably even worse. So the clientele wont be people that play golf, which is a good clientele to have. Instead it will be flooded with AP and LP residents like people mentioned earlier in here.
This has the feeling of something that might work in a better functioning city but here it will turn into a good mix of chuckee cheese, dave and busters, celebration station and the bowling alley all in one. :cant wait:

What will the back drop of the Siegen location look like?
This is Scottsdale's for comparison.
Nashville's overlooks a slimy, gross river and an elevated concrete bridge that is very unattractive. It doesn't really matter, especially at night when all their lights are on and they do most of their business.

Dude, my wife and her friends who hate golf have been a couple times to Top Golf with just the women.
It has DJ's or live music, good food, etc. and they make the golf games fun even for people that can barely swing a club.
Its like a fun bar that happens to have targets you can hit golf balls at. And the food is solid.

Black people love the one in Nashville. But it can sometimes be a different breed of black people up here

Ehh its kind of too expensive for trashy people. And golfers love it a lot. I'm a big golfer and love going because I can work the non-golfers at the games. We got rained out of a round and went there to get drunk and hit balls anyway.
But no, going there for a real golf practice is silly. But its fun for everyone.

Don't get your panties in a wad, it wasn't meant as racist.
Its a figure of speech. There are a different breed of white people in Portland, OR vs. Livingston Parish, LA too.

You would think they could have constructed it the opposite way to face they skyline instead.
