I thought the only degrees GaTech offered were engineering/science related. Even their history degrees are history of technology degrees.

But is the A&M thing really all that prevalent outside of Texas and it's neighboring states? I'm really not sure. In Houston, it's obvious. I work in oilfield engineering and all you see is gold rings. But I never really saw it outside of the oilfield and Texas. Not saying it isn't, I'm just not familiar.

What matters is how close the alumni work with one another to help others in job placement. Take Vanderbilt. Not exactly the largest alumni network, but they do help each other out when helping recent grads and other alumni find jobs outside of their region.
It's more of a culture thing than a numbers thing, imo.

Outside of your gayness, I'm definitely not trashing A&M. I'm sure A&M has some awesome networking. But no chance ya'll are top 5.

Wharton is on there. Brown just started offering an MBA program in fall 2014.

when i worked on a trading floor in houston they were almost all A&M grads, probably explains why P&L was shite...
