It's not bullshite. The human eye is limited in what it can see, especially over great distances such as this.
The Hubble scope images objects in different colors. Red filters for sulphur, green filters for hydrogen, blue filters for oxygen. The composite stacking of each of these RGB images gives you an idea of what the object would look like if you had the ability to see it firsthand
