4-Myrtle Beach, SC

7-Los Angeles, CA
These would be on my top 10 places I wouldn't want to live.

3- Las Vegas, NV

8-Nashville, TN
9-Colorado Springs, CO

6-Key West, FL
I agree with these.

2- Bangor, ME
Too cold

10-Houston, TX
Not a place that I would put on my top 10, but I would prefer to live in Houston over many other places.

I hate country music
You’re not the first person i’ve heard say this... and every time i hear it, it automatically makes me think that the person making the comment is either ignorant, or lazy, or both.
I haven’t been to Nashville in years, well before it’s become the boomtown it is now- but even i know there’s a little bit more to N’ville than freaking country music.

The keys are cool but living full time in Key West? Hell naw
Worst part about it is all the cruise ship folk 25-40 times a month.
Disney Boat here today and I honestly can’t figure out where they attract these people from.

Agreed.
Ive only lived in warm weather states, but i feel like dealing with snow and freezing temps 6 months a year cant be worse than dealing with the muggy, soul-sucking humidity i’m used to in the South... that’s just me speculating though.

No Frisco or McKinney. List is shite.
We’ve been looking at houses in Frisco quite a bit.

My dad bought a place in Bozeman, MT years ago and leaves South Louisiana from about May until late October. He absolutely despises the summers here.

That's where I would be aiming to end up.

I love it up there. We are planning on going up this summer.
I have a kid that's almost in HS. After she's done all options are on the table. I like the South but despise the heat and humidity too.

This list was compiled by something called Cube Space, which appears to be a storage unit/PODs type business.
They surveyed 1200 people, likely their customers, on the "best place to move".
The list is also not in any particular order.
Verdict: Clickbait bullshite

That’s the way to do it, if you can.. he is winning at life.

Compared to the upper Midwest it's several degrees moderate.
It's cheap compared to NYC.

No Kennebunkport, Montauk, or Big Cane

Seems like it’d be better to move before she starts HS. Nothing great about Louisiana high schools.

She's been in the same private school since pre k. That would be a non starter with the wife unless we had to for employment reasons. She changed schools a lot growing up and hated it.

Oh. I figured it was private school and I was thinking of all the tuition you’d saveD.

A lot. At this point I have like 5 years left. We could have moved to the burbs but we like our 5 and 15 minute commutes.

had an Aunt who lived in Leadville. I really like it there. It's not as trendy and overpriced like other mountain towns.
Leadville is a great little place. only downside I can think of for people under 40 is traveling in and out of there can be kind of a pain. but that keeps a lot of yuppies out
