Took the dog to the vet today

The dog has had some stomach issues the past 3-4 days. She just won’t eat so I took her to the vet to get checked out.
My phone died while waiting 2+ hours in the vet’s waiting lobby so I picked up one of the animal/pet magazines laying on the table.
As I am flipping through the magazine I was kind of surprised at what I saw.
Every single picture in the magazine was a gay couple, a lesbian couple and several trans people.
No straight people anywhere in the magazine.
I don’t really read a lot of animal magazines so my first thought was “oh it’s gay pride month”
Well, I picked up the same magazine but from November 2022 - it’s the same thing.
I just thought this was an odd way to groom people. Grooming people through animals is kind of fricked up to me. Especially being a kid type magazine with a coloring section with games that you would see on a kid’s menu at the local Texas Roadhouse

It’s meaningless virtue signaling that doesn’t make a lick of difference in the world.
Best thing you can do is impact the economy with your money. You could inform the vet that you are taking your business elsewhere because of the magazines. If enough people did that, the vet would stop buying them. If enough businesses (and people) stopped buying the magazines, they’d change their content.
Bitching about it on the internet after going through with the vet visit does nothing. In fact, you made the problem spread as you already have posters here asking about the name of the magazine.
