Yeah. Cleo was fun but then Alla sucked all of that fun right up. That parade used to be special in its heyday on the West Bank.

That fricker had 18 half filled floats that took forever to pass because you’d get 1 float, 1 band, 2 bullshite marching groups and then a loooooong period of nothing before the next float.

And then some parades, every float wants to toast the mayor.

It was dead empty for Alla so my little girl killed it.

She's hella cute though.

It's just funny to me how racist of a state Louisiana is from both sides, and neither group believes they are in the wrong to be racist.

Won’t have that problem this year.

Yeah, Alla used to be one of the biggest parades of Mardi Gras even being on the Westbank. Cleopatra was good, but was about to disappear until they moved Uptown. Now it's bigger than it ever was. Not sure why Alla hasn't been able to get more riders since it's one of the oldest parades around.

I’m always impressed how you guys bring race into everything.

When describing a person or persons for other people that weren’t there, is the color of those people not acceptable as part of that description anymore? frick. Can you not hear how stupid this sounds? Imagine describing a suspect to the police without using their color. Hey, take it up a notch and don’t use genders either.

These people looked as If they intentionally stopped throwing beads when they got to a large group of white people. They weren't smiling and looked like they were being forced to ride in a parade. It was nuts!

It’s all part of their master plan!

Sorry but going to Mardi Gras if it’s not the Friday-Mardi Gras Tuesday is a waste of time. The parades before then are arse

I disagree. This weekend was a blast! It was perfect for a couple of small kids that had never been. When they get a couple of years older we will take them the weekend before Mardi Gras.

The only bad line up is the first Friday. Pontchartrain, Sparta, Pygmalion, Carrollton and Kind Arthur were all fun this past weekend. Plus the crowds are mostly low key locals.

I agree except I thought Cleopatra Friday night was great.
