This is probably the best way to see this situation handled.
The government says the statue cannot be removed with public funds, so Tony Dungy and the major sports teams in Tampa help foot the bill to move this to a cemetery.

No. The best way to handle it is to fricking ignore inanimate objects that cause harm to nobody

The statue, which was unveiled in 1911, portrays a Confederate soldier marching into battle during the Civil War and another returning.
What is wrong with this one? It's not "honoring" anyone specific. There were also black confederate soldiers FYI.

Least it's not my tax money.

You didn't know that remembering your dead is racist?

I see a good business opportunity. Go around buying vacant lots and erecting confederate statues, then have people pay you to take them down.

A community who's members were killed. I know you're just trying to be combative, but surely you're not completely retarded.

I keep seeing this. Is this in reference solely to the vehicle that was being attacked before the guy freaked out and tried to get out of there? We've seen alt-right and antifa/blm violence before, we've seen vehicles drive through violent protesters before when they were cornered, is the young lady's death what separates this from past instances or the fact that it was an alt-right rally where it occurred and not a BLM or Antifa rally?

My mother attended a fricking Vigil for it.
I should ask if she's attending one today for what happening in Spain.

People are so dumb.
So the United Daughters of the Confederacy, a private group, commissioned the statue 100+ years ago, and now another private group is going to remove it. What is the problem here??

many around Tampa rallied to have the statue Memoria In Aeterna removed from in front of the Hillsborough County Courthouse. The statue was commissioned by the United Daughters of the Confederacy in 1910 and installed in 1911.

Tampa was just a place where Confederate generals went to retire. It's not like any battle was fought here, smh.

There isn't one. Just confederate apologists clutching their pearls.
