How long does it take to detox?
on hydrocodone 3ish days it’s at its worst physically. Then you drag arse a few weeks with anxiety.

If a shirtless Danny Trejo releasing a dove doesn't inspire you to grab your life like it's your hog and beat it like you own then I don't know what will.

Keep on trucking.

Still calling dibs though.

After I quit drinking heavily I realized just how much money I was spending on that shite. I’d have an extra 4 figures in the bank account every month that was usually pissed away in some bar room.

Hang in there and you’ll feel like a wealthy man when it’s all over with.

What's up with the yawning? Is that a common "symptom"?

Stay strong, friend. Addressing your addiction is the hardest part. You are doing fine and take it one day at a time.

Best of luck to you. Just take it hour by hour. You can do this.

It's going to start getting better, hang in there.

Be glad it's not methadone withdrawals, I didn't sleep for ten days(no one believes this but it's true). My withdrawal symptoms lasted for 6mos yours should start getting better within a couple more days.

Oh I believe you. I hear methadone is a motherfricker that won’t go away. I’ve dt’d from oxy, suboxone and alcohol at different points. I was a real shitbag from 19-26 yrs old. The scariest detox was from alcohol though. That shite was bad.

Probably should but I know a few people who done it.

People kick in jail every day. It won't kill you it'll just suck for 3 or 4 days. Rehab is useless, you'll do it or not do it on your own.

You probably don't want to go outside but sunshine does create a sense of well being through increased serotonin production. Exercise should help too but that might be more doable in a day or two when the worst of it has passed.
