Why did she delete the tweet? Stick by your comments. Otherwise what's the point?

so there's an official membership
Glad you caught that. That is exactly why I put "member" Point being, there is and it was membership with the KKK .
Now of course someone has stated that the agenda for both have striking similarities. I disagree. The agenda for the KKK was in part hatred of whites, Jews, etc. That (hatred of whites etc. )is not the premise of the BLM movement . Surely people know that there are many many white people in the BLM Movement. There were not blacks in the KKK.

if there was a peaceful white oppression movement with a sidebar of KKK type "action" committee, there would be no public separation of membership.

I think you're looking for the word "disliked"

It may not be the premise, but it is an infection within their "movement".

As is the case with any movement or organization that's ever existed. There will always be people to selfishly misappropriate a cause for their own glory.

BLM is a Terrorist Organization
Still similarities between the two. No two orgs are exactly the same.

Actually I see a huge difference in the two. The KKK had ranks, uniforms, and I'm sure an initiation process.
BLM is more of a battle cry. Any random Joe can attend a BLM protests.
In this context, I consider what the girl in the OP said wrong. Theyre nothing alike. She's thinking more Black Panther, not BLM.
With that being said, to say the shooter in Dallas was not BLM is disingenuous. As I said BLM is a movement more so than an organization, and the shooter clearly identified with the movement. He said so himself.

I think the equivalent to the KKK is the Blank Panther Party. Which im sure a lot of the BLM members are a part of.
