Worse than that, it’s aspects of society denying there are square pegs and round holes.
Think about it like this. Everything can be explained in binary. 1s and 0s. A pole and a hole. At the absolute basis of everything, it’s either on or off. Something either is or it isn’t.
And once that basic fact is accepted everything else can be defined. But refusing to accept that reality means that nothing can be defined. And thus the coin that is flipped is eternally spinning, never landing on heads or tails.

I’m probably about to ramble, but bear with me. It started long ago and right now.
At the basis of the crudest living thing, we are a 1 and a 0. A mouth and an anus. We eat and we shite. We are a binary. And this binary mutated along the eons, evolving and adapting in subtle forms along the way, but the binary remained at the core. We consume and we expel, and thus is life. Beginning and end. Alpha and Omega.
We are the Ouroboros
From the end the beginning comes and begins again.
The ancients knew this concept. It’s in all the myths. Different names in different tongues but the song remains the same. It was first explained in the raiments of religion, then cloaked in science.
But the basis of everything was accepted. We eat and we shite. We either conquer or we are conquered.
Dominate or capitulate . The law of the jungle, the natural order. Eat or be eaten.
1 or 0.
Society was built on this. Civilization was built on this. The sword evolved to beat the shield and thus the shield evolved to block the sword.
But somehow, somewhere, someone declared that the ancient laws no longer applied. And fools listened. When people began to doubt the truth before their eyes and shown in the natural order, they fell prey to the lie. So I suppose, it began with the first lie.
Have I lost you yet?

People should be able to pick a party they align with most and vote based on the issues they find most important, but they don’t need to blindly agree with every single thing that represents that side. That’s absurd and doesn’t take into account the millions of different people out there.
I'm one of those people you speak of. Although I'm a registered independent, I consider myself more of a conservative. However, I don't care if gays marry and I like weed and think it should be legal. As far as abortion is concerned, I'm not for it but think it should be allowed in cases of rape and incest.

Only, you didn’t see it. You didn’t see the before. You didn’t see the after. You only saw the lie and because you saw it you believed it. Because deep down we are still dumb apes. And if the lie reinforces our truth we believe it, and if contradicts our truth we desire it to be a lie.
Certainly, by now I’ve lost you, right?

To round it all off and bring the beginning back to the end, we’ve lost the truth of the story because there are too many storytellers. Your truth can be whatever you want it to be because if you look hard enough you’ll find someone who will tell you the story you want to hear. And you’ll believe it. And thus it will become your truth. And history is written by the victors.
It doesn’t matter whether your truth is a lie or your lie is the truth. Only that you win, and in winning get to tell the story. Because we either conquer or are conquered.
We win or we lose.

there is obviously a type of guy she and her friends are aiming for, and it's either a successful chad type playing the field or a hot/lazy (maybe dumb) model type. you can tell based on her advice her field of vision is very narrow
her advice isn't even all that bad, but it's bad in the context of understanding WHO she is aiming this advice towards. if you have to advise "make plans" it clearly shows you're dating guys who have options and are juggling you. a lot of her anger was plainly at guys who have options and she doesn't have the comprehension to realize she's been enabling these sorts of guys for years and likely ignores her own plate spinning.

She thinks her job, wealth, and fame give her value, but guys really value any of that stuff. In fact, it can be a deterrent because all of that takes time and attention away from the man. Men usually mostly care about looks and personality. She’s got good looks, but not irreplaceable. Her rant indicates her personality is likely what is driving her towards “shiite” men and driving men, in general, away.
