This is a malicious organization that was actually able to bully the federal government into bending to their will. Pretty courageous move by Cruise.

Their global membership is pretty low, but they have bucket-loads of money. I agree that this will hurt their membership, but the organization is set for life.
The documentary showed what they do to people who leave the church, basically hanging around in front of their houses and harassing them every day. Yeah, try that on Tom Cruise.
