I have a big problem with Cruise and his Scientology bullshite nonsense but I have to admit I have no problem with how he handled this. I think he was right.

So the producer of the movie gets upset that his employees aren’t abiding by the rules that can make the film lose major $$$

You are a pussy if you think this is out of line

But the tone of your little pep talk is a little naive for a big budget movie set. The stakes are much higher than what your example would suggest.

What difference does tone make? You’re giving people an ultimatum. Make it clear that failure to comply with the guidelines at all times will result in immediate dismissal. You don’t have to cuss about it over and over. Make the point clear and be done with it.

I am pretty certain they have daily meetings about this and he probably mentioned it already before his tirade. It sounds like he was at a breaking point, not a first warning type of thing.

I’m laughing my arse off. Elitist has a temper tantrum bc he’s afraid his poor little movie won’t be made

It’s a lot deeper than that and you know that if you actually listened to the entire thing

Yeah, he seemed to be going after individuals and not everyone there who is actually obeying the rules.

Bale's was way too overdramatic and it wasn't going to cost them shite to reshoot that scene. At least Tom has some actual pressure getting these some of these shots right the first time and making sure his employees follow local codes so their movie isn't shut down.

This. Christian Bales 5 minute rant was far worse. Cruise is worth hundreds of millions & does not need to do another movie ever.

He seems to be genuinely looking out for the cast/ and of course his reputation.
