tighten down the tank to the bowl.

A failed wax ring should only leak water when the toilet is being flushed. There is no water that sits in that area of the toilet.
1. Your toilet flange is too low to the floor. You will need the thicker wax ring.
2. The valve on the wall is leaking. Make sure it is unscrewed ALL the way.
3. The supply line is leaking.
4. The gasket between the tank and toilet is leaking.
5. The toilet valve is leaking at the bottom of the tank

I recently replaced these as well.
you've got to tighten down pretty good on those to make the seal, touch the bolt on the rear underside of the tank to see if they are wet

I may have to do this. I thought I tightened it pretty good when I replaced the gasket and washers, but I am a pussy.

For a leaking toilet (water closet)
1) replace wax ring and closet bolts
2) Check to see if closet flange is brokenif the slot the closet bolts mount into are broken you will lose seal and have leaks
3) check to see if the closet supply tube is leaking. could have a bad Ferrell or compression nut, or the closet nut (connection to the tank may be loose)
4) Check to see if tank is secured to bowl correctly, and that there is no crack in tank
5) i have seen before that the fill tube will spray water out of the tank when is fills, not common but does happen.

Before you do anything you need to find out exactly where the water is coming from, tubby. This will determine your next course of action, tubby. Run your hands around the back side of the bowl below the tank, tubby. Make sure it's not water running down from somewhere, tubby.
Start high and work your way down until you find the leak, tubby. There is also a chance you fricked up the wax ring install, tubby.

Put too much tubby torque on it and you'll crack the toilet.

Just buy a new toilet... one of those elongated bowl ones so you don't have to worry about your dick rubbing against the front of the seat. Also, get one of those no-slam toilet seats so you don't have to bend down to lower it.

There are different height wax rings. Did you get the right height?
x14 on checking all connections for leaks. I'd also replace the seals again since they are cheap. You might have torn one on the install. Check hoses for leaks too
Well, looks like I should've checked the second page. Two people had me beat

Like others have said, it could be a trickle down thing, but if you rule that out and still have a leak, you might have a serious problem.
1st, check to see if you are losing water from tank or bowl, if not,, then system might be backing up.
I recently tried one of the green foam rubber seals from Home Depot. It has a bigger base that actually goes 1 inch outside the bolt down studs, but it had 1/4 inch studs and I used 5/16 instead, it seems to be working well.

I've had this problem occur when the tank was refilling, a spray of water would hit the underside of the tank lid and drip down the back.
Thought it was the wax ring but it wasn't.

Bottom of toilet may be cracked

They make different heights. You should know that

Wax rings are old news. You should get a Sani-seal:
