Not really. You should see a crime scene with a "lot" of blood. Something you won't forget. That stuff gets on everything.

Yeah this sounds fishy.

I wonder if the mom shot herself and blamed the 3 year old?

Agreed. They shouldn't have a gun or a car until they learn to pay attention to their surroundings.

Boyfriend probably had gun on him and thought, I'm going into the store better put this on the seat or center console.

Doesn't the average body hold about 5 liters?

loaded gun...some people are so fricking stupid. If I have a loaded gun in my vehicle...with a bullet chambered, thats the first thing I think of when I know toddlers will be in the car. Thats just not something I overlook

That's what I was thinking too.

The bullet hit the mother from the back in the upper right chest before going through the windshield, according to the chief.
I’m guessing it’s legit according to this description in a different article.

you aren't lying. Head wounds are the worst. fricking bleed forever. Throat wounds are pretty bad too, but that's usually cause the vic flails about so much and blood goes everywhere.

many automatics with no safety (or the safety disengaged) have a trigger pull light enough for a toddler to pull it, Serpico

Was it cocked and then dropped?
It does make you wonder, though it depends on the gun. It's almost impossible for a 3-year old to be able to fire a gun that has a grip safety. I don't even think a 3 year old could even reach the trigger on a striker-fired pistol, get past the trigger safety, all while holding the gun.
