my friend did a spot on one of those fix it up shows. You would be amazed at the "budget" for actual construction. They asked him to design some backyard makeover for a budget of like $1500. A basic design and materials cost for this would have easily been 5k. They get everything donated. It's total bullshite becuse they pass it off as "we did all this for under 1500 dollars" When it should and would cost WAY over that.
I wonder how the neighbors will like this. Graves can build a fricking giant treehouse in his neighborhood, but Spinosa can't build homes without catching flack from the neighborhood.
Can of worms - (OPEN) NOT OPEN

The treehouse is on a huge arse lot he owns.. I'm still surprised he hasn't put in a pool or some other structure there.. The treehouse is fits nicely in between the lots.
Anyway, good for him, he's a nice guy the few times I've been around him.

Yes the lot does span a lot to the side of the property. It's just one of those things that shitty neighbors complain about. Better be glad there is no HOA association blowing his shite up too.

Where are you referring to? Hyacinth and Stanford, the big house with the metal fence around it? Or Hyacinth and Brame, the big house with the brick wall around it?

no they sold that house a few years ago. He lives in College Town, near Amhearst. It's right by that little park. I think the first left off highland past parker (across from where all the illegal left turns occur off East Boyd.

No. I know where he lives now. I was asking about where the other poster thought he used to live. He said on Hyacinth. I didn't know Graves ever lived on Hyacinth.

at least 6 years ago. LOL at the haters in this thread.

Which house? Just curious if it is the one at Hyacinth and Stanford. I always wondered who lived there.
Posted on 2/25/15 at 8:36 am to jbgleason
no. further east on hyacinth
Posted on 2/25/15 at 8:46 am to jbgleason
no its on hyacinth but closer to the middle. It was a nice house but it was small-ish....for a guy with that much money anyway.

Why? He already has a pool.
He probably bought it because he has more money than he knows what to do with. Better for him to buy it and leave it vacant/build a treehouse instead of someone squeezing a house 10 feet from his.

Spinosa is a scumbag huckster that would screw over his own mom to make a dollar. Just sayin'.
He lied about his plans for Rouzan, fricked over an untold number of people with Perkins Rowe, lied about his plans to open that movie theater (to secure the sale of his other one) and would build a SuperFund site next to an elementary school if he could make $20.

i was pretty much being sarcastic and poking fun at the nimby crowd. but carry on
in some neighborhoods i've seen, you can't so much as fart in public without HOA consent.

They used to live I think one house/lot East of the corner of Hyacinth and Cedardale.
To those asking-Bob Dean owns the white house fronting the lakes with tbe rear entrance to Hyacinth. It is currently for sale. It has dropped quite a bit from the original price over a year ago.

Actually, there is a suspension bridge from the second floor of the treehouse to a hot tub supported by another group of trees.
