Today's justice served story

I work in downtown Rosslyn VA and at the main intersection cops direct traffic due to the heavy congestion.
This morning's moron decided to roll right through the intersection, completely oblivious to the cop whistling at him to stop. My guess is that he figured that the fact that he was driving slowly meant it was safe to have his eyes locked on his phone.
The cop stepped to one side so he wouldn't get run over and then slammed his hand on top of the hood as the car went by. That finally got the driver's attention.
The cop motioned for his partner to take over traffic duties while he hauled out his ticket book. He was madder than a drill instructor yelling at an incompetent recruit.
This is your cool story bro for today. Carry on.

My favorite thing to do is lay on the horn when I see some jackass staring down at his phone and then doesn't go when the light turns green.
The reactions are priceless

I didn't stick around to watch the whole thing but judging from the officer's behavior I'm betting the driver was cited for anything the officer could think of, reckless driving only being the start.

Assault with a deadly weapon. Cop could've justifiably shot the driver. Iphone privilege baws!

I’m going to be there in 2 weeks. Damn. Should I be worried?

nothing pisses me off more than when this happens. i lay on the horn, the jackass finally realizes what happens, and only 2 or 3 cars at most are able to make the left turn green light.

People driving while completely oblivious to their surroundings is becoming way too common. An a-hole like that needs to be dragged out of his car, beaten, and tazed in order for justice to truly be served. Along a similar line, there are few things more infuriating than being a few cars behind someone who has their face in their screen, light turns green and they're not moving, eventually they look up and casually drive off while you catch the light and have to wait through another cycle.

If I see someone is on the phone, they have exactly one second to go before I hit the horn. If I can't tell if they're on the phone, they get two seconds.
Yet another fun driving habit I picked up living in Germany
