What do you think our chances of victory were in the pacific on December 8th 1942 after those losses, followed by 6 months of loss after loss for the allies in the pacific theatre?

If you mean buy not giving the japs the oil and raw steel they wanted, then Neville Chamberlain called and wants his foreign policy back,,,
