I’m as Gen X as you can get, and even after Googling “Kit Hoover”, I still don’t know who she is.

I just googled her and didn't recognize her either. Then I saw she was born in '70 like us so I looked up her younger photos and I remember her now from Road Rules. She's done a lot of shite to her looks because she doesn't look the same at all to me.

Generation hatred is the stupidest thing. People are people. Every generation has a-holes and deadbeats. Every generation has great people also. Bitching about another generation shows more about the person bitching.

Oh, piss off. The younger generations will be saying the same thing about yours when you reach our age.
I can only speak for myself, but I did the best I could by my kids. We provided them with a stable, two parent household until they were adults, and they are both successful, respectful young men.
Also, I wouldn’t have wanted to grow up at any other time.

It’s certainly not fact. It was cynical contrarian opinion. Not even mine. I had to lookup latchkey because I had never heard of that term until that post. It was just meant to rile people up. Given the negative votes, it was successful.
