I hate that so much of my joy comes from watching sports, mostly of the collegiate variety. It’s worse now because higher ups all seem to have their own agenda.

It’s bad enough that tailgating this fall is all but gone. Drinking cold ones with old friends under the stately oaks is a nice carrot to motivate me throughout the work week. College football, followed closely by baseball, has been a mainstay in the fall all my life.

Even if a few teams play, it seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. This life we are currently in sucks.

I’ve been playing a bunch. My game is better now than it ever has been. That is a definite plus to all of this.

Crazy. I’ve found myself arguing less and less on here. Each day is its own roller coaster. I could feel great at 2:00 PM and like an emotional wreck at 6:00 PM.

Time to start golfing, fishing and hunting. I loved watching LSU and the Saints but it really doesn’t mean anything at all. You would probably be better off doing any of the aforementioned above than tailgating/laying on your arse all Saturday.

You just figuring this out? I’ve been so mad I can’t go to the bar I wanted to drive my truck off the Dularge bridge.

Jesus, sounds exhausting. The circumstances have been the same for a while. Settle into a new routine and get on with your life.

Sounds good on paper but those fricks will probably close down state parks and lakes for our own good during the fall.

It’s easy to say that in hindsight, but entertainment and sport has been a staple throughout the existence of man. I know those other activities fall into the entertainment and sport sector, but you catch my drift.

Day drinking, hitting things, and a hotdog at the turn... my mood improved just talking about it.

Not sure if sarcastic, but I’ll go along. I’m actually pleasantly surprised by the amount of people on here, a sports board for all intents and purposes, that seem to be coping well.

Imagine whining this much to some guys on Bataan or at Bastogne, etc. It's frustrating and stupid but grow a sac.

Half way joking. There are certain things I enjoy doing and I can’t for what I can see is no good reason. Everytime I hear Dickhead making another statement I do get some rage.
