For all the crap B.R. gets on this site. I would like to extend my good wishes to you and your Beautiful city.
I have not spent any time in B.R. except an in and out for some football games over the years'
My parents are big LSU baseball fans. My dad is not in good health and wanted to take them to an LSU series.
Stayed at Lod Cook dined at several of the restaurants . Took a tour of the LSU athletic and academic facilities. The plans for the future look bright as well.
The people at LSU and the entire community could not have been more friendly. The campus and downtown B.R. were beautiful and clean.
Had a fantastic time, You should be proud to call Baton Rouge home.

BR is much better now than it was in 2004. Unless you don't like a little murder.

Let me know the next time you come down. I'll take you to meet all of Gravy Chamber's followers. Then we can go knuckle check BRHS losers at the new Sonic.

Katrina only had an impact for a year or so. We didn't retain that many new permanent residents.

White flight to the burbs has had a bigger impact. I still think BR gets more hate than it deserves on here though.

Traffic is the main killer for me. I've had people from LA tell me they hate the traffic here worse because they just become angry.

And a lot of them are no longer here. This was almost 13 years ago. People still think Katrina has had an adverse effect on BR over a decade after the storm.

Because the oilfield life has destroyed your memory. Same thing happened to me. I'm better now.

Baton Rouge isn't nearly as bad as most of these idiots make it out to be. Thanks for your kind words.

Thanks man. I attribute our greatness to the operator baws making tree fiddy, slanging truck nutz, almost graduating LSU and buying their McMansions from level homes and DSLD for another tree fiddy.
