I used to be a lifeguard. Jobs like this sound like fun to the uninitiated. In reality, working with the public in a resort, vacation, or recreational venue is the 9th circle of hell. I dont blame those guys for doing the bare minimum unless they get tipped.

For your information, we keep it very low just so the people in our group of 6-10 people can hear it. However, my playlist has gotten lots of compliments and I’ve been asked every single time on the beach to turn up the volume.

The Herbstreit gif will live on infinity! Yes tip them up front. Only problem I have at silver shells is they pick them at 5pm just when everything is getting good but if tip they’ll let you stay out longer.
