Why BRPD would EVER associate themselves with that joke of a company is beyond me. I fully support our police officers and I do not believe individual officers receive money from Riverside towing. However, there has to be some kind of deal with city government to turn a blind eye to some of the stuff they do. I have friends who have been towed from parking lots while they were shopping in the fricking store the parking lot belongs to. Riverside can never admit they're wrong in these situations.

The city of baton Rouge nor the baton Rouge police dept regulates towing and recovery companies. Done strictly by the Louisiana state police.

The BRPD will gladly arrest you if you go there and act emotionally towards the people who have stolen your property. They are always working a detail there. My friend had to fly his dad in from Dallas to recover a car there because the car was in his Dad's name. Riverside towed him from the BWW parking lot on campus while he was in BWW! That is breaking the law! BRPD is defending a company and employees that have clearly stolen a car.

Not a good idea with those heavy tires. I found a gif that cuts off before the end of the original video. Let's just say "arterial spray".
