I see a reboot of "Gilligan's Island" coming from this, but who will play Ginger and Mary Ann?

Whoever would want to do this is mad. You couldn’t pay me tens of thousands to go that deep into the ocean.

It's for people who have more money than sense. People who have so much money that normal life just doesn't cut it anymore.

Nicole Kidman as Ginger. Jennifer Garner as Mary Ann.

Imagine if they’re somehow still alive at the bottom of the ocean, knowing that their oxygen is running out and not knowing if anyone knows they’re down there. What a shite way to die….I’m getting claustrophobic just thinking about it

I dont understand how people who make such poor decisions have so much money.

Or having some kind of malfunction at the bottom to where they were able to inflate it and make it back to the surface only to be unable to open the hatch, with it being bolted shut from the outside, and thus run out of oxygen.

I dont understand how you would design something that doesn't have drop ballast or something as a failsafe way to get back topside with a way to get out of the damn thing once you got there.

Sunk while going to see a sunken ship that was unsinkable.

why didn't the titanic itself implode as it sank? I guess it must have sunk very slowly?

It wasn’t a pressure vessel, big gaping assed hole in it had pressure almost equalized before it began to sink

A distant relative of mine is a very successful inventor. If you're in the medical field you probably use his products. He lets someone else run his company because he has no business sense.

What's the latest? Any new info? I don't have time to read through the thread.

Especially the moron who brought his 19 year old son. They could have been doing literally anything else on Earth but chose to do that. Insane.

Actually the rear section was pretty devastated due to air pockets causing it to be crushed/blown out as the pressure increased as it went further down.
eta-This says as much. LINK
