Even if that were true, would you drive to a restaurant, then to a person's home, for $5?
If I needed the money, yeah!

A guy I know runs a pizza place. (Italian pie )
He put on Facebook one time the dumbest order ever.
Two two liters at $3.50 each. With fees it was like $15
They could have gone to walgreens and spent $2. But laziness and likely parent's credit card got them $7.50 2 liters.

I tip $5 cash every time for a normal sized order. Uber/da gubment not getting my driver's hard earned money.

Sometimes you’ve hammered too many natty lights and just need a post chill meal dog
Can’t believe so many of you are encouraging drinking and driving. Smh.

When I have colleagues come over from Europe they always ask me about tipping. When you try to explain it to someone it makes you realize how messed up the whole system is. They’re always baffled at the custom.

This is what I'm talking about. For those of us that have the AMEX Platinum, which all OT Ballers have, then we get the $15 Uber credits every month. It was the end of the month last night, I had a few tied on, and my son wanted some Panda Express (side note, they don't use real pandas). So I used the credits in Uber Eats before they expire. I over tip when I'm drinking and it's free. The way I looked at it, I was getting a free $15 meal for my son and I didn't have to go get it, why not tip the shite out of the meal. Today I saw how much I tipped in an email I got and wondered what everyone else thought about the tipping for Uber Eats.

I don’t order terribly often but can’t remember the last one that got out of the car to bring the food to the door and more than a few I had to go halfway down the block.
I don’t stiff them but I have a hard time doing a $5 delivery fee, 15% service fee and another 20% tip (like $12 in add ons for a $20 order) to have to walk down the block. Not to mention the occasional menu price inflation.
It’s not their fault but they have to be a little mindful of how much the service costs vs what they are willing to provide before complaining. Because of that I rarely order, ultimately

Waitr recently went up to 15%.
I have noticed they typically charge way more for items listed on the Waiter menu compared to the true menu prices when you order direct from the restaurant. I didn’t realize these companies are taking such a large cut.

Not knowing the difference between "your" and "you're" is trashy.
You're definitely trashy!

These things frick over the people working in restaurants.
The people delivering the food come out worse in the deal.
