Tipping board: smoothies

So I occasionally walk down to a smoothie place by my office. There is a jar by the register for tips and when I pay with a credit card there is a tip line on the reciept. I don't see a need to tip for an already overpriced smoothie so just scratch the line out, total, and sign. Is this an a-hole move? Does the OT tip smoothie cashiers?

$1 at most. Or the change if I'm paying with cash.

It depends on what she looks like.

Unless I really like the place and am a regular, I don't tip counter service.

No tip unless they do something out of the ordinary to earn it. They aren't paid like servers, why do they need a tip?

For pouring ice and shite in a blender? No way. Those folks make minimum wage anyhow.
I don't tip people at coffee shops -- mainly because my standard order is a dark roast coffee, no cream, no sugar.

It's no different than a bartender, but if someone grabs my beer and does the painstaking work involved in opening it, I owe them at least a buck, right?
