Tinder has gotten overtaken by fake profiles

Is it just me or has this ruined Tinder? I hadn't used it in about 6 months Bc I was dating someone. We broke up and I got back on Tinder to find it has been infiltrated by tons of fake profiles.
My friend showed me bumble and it's soooo much better in terms of actual real people. Tinder on the other hand has so many fakes who are Student at Harvard , employee at USA Today, NY Yankees or other BS
Anybody else noticed this as of late.

Some on a much smaller scale. Now it's unbearable. Where in the past I'd swipe right a ton and delete matches I didn't want to fall to. Now 80% are fake
