There wasn't even a hint of this when I was in college just 15 years ago. Not that I noticed at least.
Then again, Hitler was a relative unknown in 1920. Less than 20 years later tanks were rolling. So I guess it doesn't take long for things to fall apart.

I understand your point, but on some level the ability to even have this widespread ignorance is what makes this country so great. If you're fed up with it, as much of America is starting to feel, then do something about it. The apathetic approach is no longer going to work, and the public is going to have to realize that we either take a united stand against SJWs on a trivial topic or were going to be "fighting" a multi-front war against a much larger group down the road.
The biggest issue in the SJW movement is that every small victory increases both their numbers and their insatiable appetite for controversy. Every time they "win" for a cause, they add the supporters of that cause to their ranks. Look at the BLM movement and you'll find women's rights activists, LGBT activists, animal's rights activists, etc. scattered amongst the crowd. These people are bred to fight the man, so they're lost without a cause to defend. Eventually they'll run out of relatively trivial causes and they'll come after something that is vital and widely supported. I just hope we've dealt with them before it gets to that point.

Administration actively found one guy and kicked him off of campus. The other two guys could've been random people riding through campus or completely fabricated, who knows? They can't go out and spend $40 million trying to find some imaginary people.

It would be so nice if millenials were historically and culturally literate enough to see the clear historical arc of the entire SJW movement. Where it began, who funded it, what it's goals are, how it has morphed through the last 50 years in American culture.

There in lies the problem with these groups. There may have been a legitimate concern and a few isolated events, but it took on a life of its own and now it is hard to discern wtf went wrong in the first place. These people are desensitizing the public to the terms racist and bigot. They're so quick to pull that card that it is impossible to separate the legitimate claims from the frivolous bullshite. They're undercutting their own agenda, but they don't give a frick because as long as they get one step "forward", they'll sacrifice 100 steps back.
