The younger brother of New York crime boss John Gotti has been spotted outside his Long Island home following his release from prison.

Gene Gotti served 29 years of a 50-year-long sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Louisiana for running a multi-million-dollar heroin distribution ring and was released last week.

Now aged 71, a picture first published this week by the New York Post depicts a portly, balding man with snow-white hair in a plain, baggy white t-shirt – a far cry from his court appearances during the 1980s, when he had dark hair and wore sharp-looking suits.

That's exactly what I would expect a 71 year old former crime boss's woman to look like.

Law enforcement sources told the New York Post that Gene Gotti was entitled to take on a role in the Gambino family, which is now led by Domenico Cefalu, while its ‘street boss’ is Frank Cali.

The official said: ‘The Gambinos are running smoothly – gambling, pills, construction unions etc. The last thing they want is someone to put them back in papers and on TV.

‘Everyone hopes he will be low-key and just make a living, but that is very un-Gotti-like.’

How do these people still operate in 2018 with law enforcement funding and technology?

That's crazy. They can't be that strong these days.

You should add that she is a beautiful and graceful woman. So he doesnt have your head cutoff and use it for a soup tureen.

90% of the fbi that was designated to go after the mob got reassigned to counter terrorism after 9/11

The mob is slowly building back it's forces

And fwiw, just because you know someone is a criminal doesn't mean they can just get a slam dunk case against them and throw them in jail

Low key. Loan sharking and gambling are their bread and butter, as labor racketeering indictments and RICO have killed their control of the unions. I've known a couple people in the Carolina's who've done drives back and forth for a cigarette tax scam.

Where's the federal pen in Louisiana? I know Angola is the State Pen, I never knew there was a federal pen down here.

The Pollock website has lists for the prison commissary.

Whoever knew that men needed/wanted that many hair care and personal grooming items?

Pollock is club fed. It’s for rich people. Of course they want to take care of themselves, they have pussy to slay when they get out.
