No. Germans means old news on TD. The meaning in Animal House has nothing to do with it here. The “Japs Bomb Pearl Harbor” was a true and old headline. It just got switched to Germans as a joke but then it Oddly stuck.
So Germans became them and is still now the moniker for “old news “
But in Animal House, they said “Germans?” Because it was WRONG information, not old information.
