Not surprising.
It doesn't say anything about this on wiki (which doesn't mean it isn't true). His great grandfather was white and buried next to the slave he got pregnant (Freeman's grandparent).

This kind of reminds me of the woman who claimed George Bush Sr sexually harassed/assaulted her when she took a picture with him (I think it was at the Super Bowl or something).

My grandpa was the same way in his 80's whenever I had a new girlfriend come around to meet them- Overly hugging them if he was near them. First I was thinking, "shite give her some space" and it was pretty annoying but after a while I realized all old men do it at that age and eventually the girls would too and brush it off. It passes in time if the gf is kept long enough
