Most magazines are run by women or gay men- their view on beauty is nothing like your typical alpha male views as hot or beautiful. In many cases, the media just picks some woman, tells the public she is gorgeous, when in fact, another overrated, high degree of makeup, very average woman...

I’m from their era and none ever topped a 6 on my scale. The best looking of that generation of actresses and the most hated by me personally, then and now, is Hanoi Jane Fonda. But she surely was fine in “Barbarella.”
