Love how you just brush aside police and fire,
I would STRONGLY prefer private police and fire.

And here you lack the fundamental misunderstanding as to why it ranks so low. Quality wise it's the best but that doesn't mean shite when it's so damn expensive. Newsflash just because it's uniquely American does not always mean it's the best way

Not sure how you can look at the state of our infrastructure, postal service, and public education system and think "yep...I'm sure it will be different with medicine".

Have you ever lived in a country with socialized health care?

just like the police, military, fire department, public roads, social security, are also forms of socialism.

Ah the classic solution of making it shittier for everyone
That's called equity, class

It's almost like decades of neglect and lack of funding have caused this to occur

Blue i can guarantee you have no idea what socialism is and just use it as a buzzword

I know exactly why it ranks low among people that are pushing for a government solution.

It works well for me. And that quality is something I'm not willing to give up. Someone in the world has to drive innovation while everyone else is worried about dumbing everything down out of fairness and equality.

It's not perfect, but it's the best way for us. And our contribution to world health has been astounding this year, as 3 American companies have produced the gold standard in vaccines against the novel Coronovirus that has killed millions.
You don't see Cuba, Venezuela, or even Canada leading the way despite having a far more "equitable" healthcare system under government control. China is busy shipping sugar water to nations that are desperate for a vaccine. Russia is still floundering.
The only ones that have come close is UK-based AstraZeneca, who earn $ billions every year in the highly lucrative American pharmaceutical market and are geared to be cutting edge and competitive.

There some very good public schools and some very poor public schools lot's of that has to do with how the local area funds the schools. Obviously the worst schools are in the poorest of areas. Wouldn't really be the case with healthcare as we have mounds of evidence from other countries to point to

Louisiana has some of the highest per-pupil spending of any state...yet ranks in the lowest tier in public schools.
Our public school network in general is a "one size fits all" approach that can't handle students outside of the norm. It's a complete failure, and it's particularly bad in larger cities where there is a wide variety of students with a wide variety of needs.

Aint this rich. From the guy who claims Bernie is not a socialist, when Bernie called himself a socialist.
The economy of Cuba is socialist.

Would you rather have your own healthcare or be 100% reliant on the VA and their facilities?
Would you rather have your own retirement plan or be 100% reliant on SS?
Would you rather send an important package via USPS or FedEx?
Would you like the most important aspects of your life and you family's well being in your hands or in the hands of people that run the DMV?
Stop being so ridiculous. You know that large, lumbering, unaccountable bureaucracies are detrimental to overall quality of life vs private entities. Public option only healthcare in the US would be an absolute unmitigated disaster and you know it.

Socialists are embarrassed of what socialism really is, but it bugs the shite out of them when you point out it has never worked.

Most Americans health care would suffer under socialized medicine.

New Jersey spent the most per student out of any other state in the US and they were nowhere near the top in terms of performance.

The amount of fraud we would have every year for universal Healthcare would probably equal the total GDP of all third world nations on the planet.
