I would actually wear those.

I had these. Different colors though. They were kind of uncomfortable unfortunately.

All you need is a track suit, a pack of smokes, and a big gold chain to go with them and you’ve got the Eastern European starter set down.

I love minimalist retro track shoes as long as they are based on the original. Most of them were originally spikes and the thin soles are amazingly comfortable but not for people with problems with their arches or significantly overweight. My favorites are the Saucony Bullet which when broken in are the most comfortable shoes I own. I think I have 7 pair if you count the two that have been relegated to shop and yard work.
There are tons of colors but I wear the subdued gray variations most often

I am wearing the dove gray with gum soles as I type this.

I have had a couple of pairs of Mexico 66s but they take longer to break in the upper and are more expensive but the uppers do last longer.

I like those. I’ve looked at some of the old school Saucony but ne er pulled the trigger on any.

I like them, but I’d likely look silly in them.

Why?

Mostly because my typical wardrobe doesn’t fit the look of most retro sneakers. I do have 2 pairs of Saucony Jazz and a pair of Stan Smiths I wear regularly, so maybe I’m selling myself shirt.

How much were those?
I can't remember, I bought them years ago. Somewhere between $80 and $120, if I were to guess. They've been discontinued for awhile now.

Owned a pair like that in 1976.
My opinion is they belong there.

The soles were thicker but those are one of the first shoes designed specifically for running.

Bruce Lee could get away with wearing whatever he wanted.

Not sure the look you are going for but no one is going to sleep with you in those shoes.
