If I’m driving a pickup it’s because I’m working in a remote area that requires a rugged and reliable vehicle, with storage and hauling capacity.

On the one hand, electric motors are very reliable, on the other, relying on the power grid, and a battery, it’s crippling weakness, for that use.

I’d much rather have a simple truck with a Diesel engine instead, for that reason. It will be reliable, and I don’t need to worry about getting stranded.

The SUV could be a status symbol for some people, but I don't even think I would go for it. I wouldn't buy a vehicle more costly than, say, a mid range Volvo XC90 or Chevy Tahoe. And even then, I'm keeping the car for 7-10 years.

I'm a cheap bastard.

Is this another vehicle that doesn’t actually exist yet, and, as far as we know, may never exist?

They are in production now, for planned release of next fall.

How will they charge outside of the home?

Do they have any type of network set up?

The interior is sex, the truck looks like sex.

This reminds me of a buddy years ago telling me “the Cadillac SRX should be called the S-E-X because that car is as good as sex.”

Problem was, his dumb arse thought he was talking about this:

when what he actually said was this:

I was very confused and thought he had terrible taste
