That said, when it comes to Ford, I give the same advice regarding VWs or Audis. It'll be a great vehicle for the first 4-5 years. Then, get rid of it.

I’m on vehicle allowance through my company. One of the stipulations is I can’t have a vehicle over 5 years old or over 200,000 miles.

But, if I buy a vehicle in 2025, I will be right at retirement by the time this next vehicle hits that five year mark. So I’ll probably keep my next one longer than five years.

You will probably have to pre-order the Hertiage, could be a while for that one. I have a big bend 4 door, love mine

Well that sucks. I’d love to have a manual again. But if I have to choose between a V6 with automatic or a four cylinder with manual, I’m taking the V6.

The turbo charged 4 has as much horsepower as the 5.4L V8 in my F150. It moves the Bronco just fine.

My friend wouldn’t buy one for his wife because the crash test was really bad.

Don't let the availability of a manual draw you in because you can only get the manual with the 2.3L 4 banger.

I think they nailed the look. Great looking vehicle...

...I just don't love the idea of a Turbo charged engine, especially from Ford. But it is what it is these days.

I agree: the manual is the way to go.

Ford has been heavily invested in the turbo engine since 2010. They are far ahead of their direct competitors.
The 2.3l is a great engine.
