Not all Luchese boots are made in US. Some are made in Mexico.

I wear boots with a zipper on the inside part of the boot. I don’t give a crap what anyones else’s opinion is. Wear what you want and do not let a bunch of fashion police posters bother you. For the record I also have regular boots by Lucchese (2pair) and Tony Llama. I’ve been wearing boots since before a lot of y’all were born. Also, I guarantee you I’m not gay. Carry on fairies.

There is no way I would by western boots with zippers.

Eh... ropers are certainly not Cowboy boots or even "Western" and are actually more inline with Dress boots (low heel, round never a pointy/ square toe). A roper is Chelsea style casual/dress boot that comes in a pull on or zip style.

As far as comfort goes - my Tecovas rubber-soled cowboy boots are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn.

Totally agree. I have a pair of the Jasons and the Westons and love them both.

I could see that for their “less expensive” line.

Edit. Don’t ever call anything with a zipper or elastic slip on a cowboy boot in public.

- the ones i have are the same sole and heel as the cowboy boots in the store.

Go to the store and compare them. Same material and size. I got them for free and grabbed them for work.

I don’t really care if they see it not. My point was that other mfg use the same factory to “hand make” the boots. I’m sure there are luchesse boots cut from Virgin junior calves that had never seen the sun tanned for yrs in an oak charred barrel dusted with unicorn farts but I’m not interested in spending $5k for a pair of boots.

Well, then you're missing out.

The unicorn fart line is second to none.

If you’re in Baton Rouge, I just had new heels and soles put on. Militello’s on Corporate. Did a great job for like 30 bucks.

Don’t listen to these losers! I’m literally wearing them right now & they are the shite! Most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever worn. You will absolutely love them. You can’t even see the zipper.
