Why not donate it to breast cancer awareness? You’re not a sexist are you?

How is making people aware of something "charitable".

I mean I can understand donated to breast cancer research or victims of breast cancer. That seems good.

I don't want my money going to an organization just teaching people that breast cancer exists. I think most people already know breast cancer exists.

You could spend $1,000 on booze and throw a good party for your richest friends to donate more money to a local 501c3. Some good kegs and wine and whiskey. And a bartender ($20 an hour tops for 3 hours).

Get their wives drunk and make it a competition to see who has the richest husband.

Turn that $1,000 into $10,000 maybe.

Order a bunch of food and necessities on Amazon and have it delivered to multiple houses in poor neighborhoods.

I love a good Schitt's Creek gif, and you nailed it.

Don't send to St. Jude or Susan Komen. Yes money needs to go there but everyone sends money there. Find something locally you care about. If children's cancer or breast cancer is something that does make an impact on you then call the local children's hospital. Give money for them to throw and ice cream party or something. I think that has more of an impact.

Don't put those in the same sentence. One is a crooked organization and one is a wonderful organization.

If you know someone with cancer that is struggling with medical payments I suggest helping them out. If you have a heart for serving them as well maybe take $100 of that cook them a nice home made meal and bring it to them.

I was by no means saying St. Jude's is a terrible organization. I just meant more that if he really wants to see his money in action then to do something else if that makes sense.

Obviously you could just turn it into 20's and ride around and hand a $20 to every needy person you see.

When I lived in Austin I had a friend in a band that played a bar on Red River, can't remember the name but it was at the end of an alley that passed between the A.R.C.H. and the Salvation Army. We were in the alley getting high and a Jeep pulled up with a bunch of U.T. Chads in it. One of the Chads stood up in the Jeep and pulls out a huge wad of twenties. He said because it was Christmas everyone there would get a twenty for Christmas. Took less than a minute for it to become a complete shitshow with people trying to climb in the Jeep to get at the guy with the money. They damn near killed people hauling arse out of the alley.

There's a great scene in an otherwise mediocre WWII movie called The Mountain Road starring Jimmy Stewart, which dealt w/the US Army in China. A GI on a supply truck is passing out food to the peasants and it's like every such scene from a hundred similar movies. Suddenly the crowd gets unruly and starts to panic that they won't get any food. A riot starts and by the time it's over, the GI is dead.

Apparently this was based on an actual incident.

Do something with it yourself and don't just donate it as most charities are a scam
