Looking for some advice on the above SUV. I have heard mixed reviews on Jeeps.

I saw this being sold for 12k with 60k miles

Wife is looking for a Small - Midsize SUV. Trying to find something in the 13k range preferably with 60k miles or less

Seems like a lot for such a small vehicle. I love Jeeps but I wouldn’t buy that.

We had a new one when they first came out. 3 years later the transmission dropped riding down the road. Of course out of warranty. Was going to be thousands of dollars to fix. We got something else instead of fixing it.

You should get a Lambo instead.

Nissan in general? Pass

Mitsubishi & Nissan are the bottom feeders of Japanese imports.

Find a Honda or Toyota product you can live with.

As long as a ‘14 year model of either of those wasn’t high mileage and/or abused, you’ll be fine for a couple of years at least.

You’re welcomed in advance.

I have the Jeep Compass sport as a company vehicle - the 4 cylinder needs a little power. But show me a 4 cylinder that packs a punch

Mother bought a used one and ran into transmission problems. Traded it in and bought a 2017 lease for around $15k. I bought it from her for my wife when she decided she wanted the smaller Renegade instead. It's more fun to drive, to me, than my Maxima. Decent sound system, comfortable seats, roomy (I'm a diminutive by OT standards 6'2). Not much pick up and go. Cargo bay and roof racks are both a plus. We use the Maxima for long-distance trips, and my wife has only a short commute to work in the Compass. Crossing my fingers for the long run.

You'd be better off looking at the Korean cars. Plus both of those vehicles are hideous to look at.

I will agree on Mitsubishi, but not Nissan.

Had a 2001 Maxima that was problem free for 9 years and 130k miles and my wife and I both have Infinitis (also Nissan) that have been great.

It may be a slight step below Honda and Toyota, but it's nowhere near Mitsubishi, which is a shite product .

What year is it?

I have a 2012 Patriot. 5-speed manual. I'm not a fan of the CVT. It's been a good vehicle for what I need, but it lacks in many areas.

The 4-cylinder has almost no power. It's a very lightweight vehicle in every respect.

If all you want is something to haul the kids to school and do grocery shopping, go for it.

Either go really good or really shitty

Along the same lines of telling people to NEVER buy a 3-series BMW
