That's the most bigoted post I've read in a long time. It's amazing how closed minded you are.

Nothing quite like the sanctimony of somebody who is impervious to argument. You either agree with me or you are stupid. Nothing in between.

Why two? And why unrelated?

You're quite the close-minded hypocrite.

I stopped reading at the title, as your argument is invalid from the get go.

"Marriage" is a religious ideal, and the prevailing religion of our nation is Christianity, which states that marriage is between a man and a woman.

You would have been better served to call everyone dumb for not supporting gay unions.

Results from a recent Pew poll.

It is pretty obvious where the public opinion on this issue is headed. Should be legal everywhere once the younger generations come of age.

No one is stopping you from being gay. Just not making marriage legal. Cant wait to see them lose all their shite in divorce court.

For goodness sake don't try to screw up a childs life with this selfish B S

This country was formed with the idea of a separation of church and state. Its not like if its legal that the government will force your church to marry gays.

I remember reading a letter written by one of the men who helped draft the Constitution. It said that if the people of our nation conduct themselves according to the bible that this constitution should work great.

Separation of church and state did not mean no religious rights.

It will be legal for a couple of decades, and then it won't matter because government will "get out of the marriage game" as libertarians like to say.

You could show a similar chart for the percentage of each generation that no longer actually believes in marriage of any sort. They think they believe in marriage, but they don't think it should be permanent, which means they don't actually believe in it.
That's why popular opinion is changing so much on gay marriage so quickly. People see the happiness of gays as being more important than the institution of marriage, which again is proof that they don't actually have any strong feelings about the institution in the first place.
What happens when all but a religious fringe stops believing in the foundational institution of civilization? I don't know, but we are all going to find out.

You could look at inner cities if you want a clue.

As long as it's not a choice to smoke in a bar , or eat foie gras, or not bake someone a cake, right ? As long as their choices go along with your beliefs

And nobody's taking away any of your religious rights by making it legal for gays to get married in the court system.

OP is just angry and delusional.

Anyone who thinks that 2 dudes can actually be married is delusional. Government enabling this delusion is borderline criminal.

True

Not running a stop sigh is a moral law. It is morally wrong because you could kill someone.

Many laws are based on morality.

The only reason SSM became so quickly acceptable is because the interwbs made PIHB mainstream.

Another bull shite poll, I'd love to hear how the question was read . I'd almost guarantee the wording was so neutral one almost had no choice but to agree with the pollster..

Edit to include millennial's equal beta generation....
