Louisiana is still trying to figure out medical marijuana while the rest of the country is legalizing for recreation. You wont get your legal weed until at least 48 other states have done it. Louisiana will miss out on the windfall and spend a decade or two losing money to neighboring states.

LA is dead last in everything else, why should this even be a surprise.
They’re still figuring out how to corrupt the shite out of this somehow while everyone else is raking in massive tax $$$. It never is, was, or will be first about the betterment of the people of LA to their own government; all about padding those pockets.

Yep. Couple it with needing the older generations to move on in some capacity. I wish this could be made a topic with some credibility. It is just the stoners for the most part. More of the general public needs to get behind it. Politicians do not want to risk re-election unfortunately

I generally agree, but on thing I wonder about--which of the neighboring states is going to be so far ahead of LA? Mississippi? R-Kansas? Alabama? All doubtful imo. Maybe Texas is closer than I think? I can see Florida doing it relatively soon.
