It could be a female who transitioned to male, but never bought a new wardrobe, so still wears dresses, and wants to be known as a man, but kept his (previously her) name just to frick with people.

If a “genderqueer” person doesn’t want to be called he/she, or him/her pronouns that’s fine. But every time I hear “they” or “them” I’m going to automatically think that they and them are referring to more than one person. This bs is too confusing so why can’t we just constantly refer to the genderqueer person by their name? Just eliminate all pronouns all together.
