Pretty good that you still talk to your back office folk, being the MD you are
I sure as hell don’t. Probably not a good idea. Need some training in humility I guess

BBC story on Idlib
Saw this story the other day on BBC and it’s a terrible situation that will likely end up really bad.
I’ve worked hard my whole life and didn’t come from a privileged family. But I realize how lucky I am to have been born in the US. I’m not going to feel bad about it though. Privilege is a continuum and we can only do things within our own life and circumstances, regardless of if that is genetic or cultural limitations.

It makes tons of sense.
You’re a managing director, and I was just surprised you still talk to your back office (who are mostly based in India), because most MDs really don’t
I don’t talk to them, but probably should, it would humble me

Indian doc makes a very good point. We are very fortunate to have been born in USA.
Many bitch and wine about different aspects of America, what they forget is the sacrifice of all those before us that allows them the opportunity to bitch and wine!
For my good fortune being born here isn't anything to feel ashamed or guilty about.
It would suck to be those folk living in another country not as blessed as we are here.
Kinda like "white privilege"... I am a proud, white, southern born man, and feel no guilt!

Might have been spread eventually by the rich, but it was allowed to develop because of 3rd world sanitation and enforcement.

He knows what a managing director is.
Because he is one
He runs the high yield desk at Wells Fargo.

The OT - America is the greatest country ever and I'm so blessed to live here.
Also The OT - frick anyone from an undeveloped country that points out how fortunate I am to live in America.

I guess proof positive a retard can arse-kiss their way up the ladder. I wouldn't put his dumbass in charge of a dog-walking service.

Oh, for fricks sake.

Wait, so only rich people can fly around the globe? Damnit, there’s goes a few bucket list items. I really wanted to visit Europe someday.
