He's also a prepper, regularly trains with Kagwerks, and has a huge bunker in Utah to "do cowboy shite."

I thought he had questionable judgment because of the face tattoos, but the prepper thing confirms it.

Austin Richard Post was born on July 4, 1995,[1] in Syracuse, New York.[18][19] He was raised by his father, Rich Post, and his stepmother, Jodie. His father had been a DJ in his youth and introduced Post to many different genres of music including hip-hop, country, and rock.[20] When Post was nine years old,[21] he and his family moved to Grapevine, Texas, after his father became the manager of concessions for the Dallas Cowboys

This always makes me chuckle, he is counted as such only due to the changes in the way the stats are compiled and I say this as someone who likes him.

Counting streaming is disengenous BS, streams are no different than juke box plays.

I’m always amazed how hard some of you nerds try to sound cool and edgy by acting like you don’t know the biggest names in music. It would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic.

Also, Posty is one of the coolest guys in the game with a unique style. By all accounts he is one of the nicest people you will meet. Sure he is weird and a bit eccentric but his talent is undeniable.

I am just happy Ozzy finally got his big break after all these decades toiling in obscurity. Thanks Posty.

Postie is great. His style is very unique and immediately recognizable. You can hate on him all you want but he sells like crazy, he's a humble guy, and I really enjoy most of his music.

He actually comes from metal. He was in metalcore bands before getting into hip hop.

He's very talented on guitar and sings surprisingly well. The autotune is a style choice more that a crutch.

Adam Sandler is on a roll — that could send him all the way to the Oscars.

Not only is he up for a Gotham Award for his work in “Uncut Gems,” but his performance also nabbed him an Indie Spirit Award nomination just last week.

If all is right in the world, Sandler, 53, will be recognized by the Academy with a nomination

I have a feeling that in 50 years we’ll still be listening to the Beatles and Michael Jackson. This guy...probably not.

and?

What is the difference between a juke box play in 1957 and a stream in 2020?

Either count them both or dont but using apples to camels comparisons to prop up newer artist and make them look better in comparison is nonsense.

What is the perfect balance of metrics in your opinion then?

The way music is consumed is different now and streaming will be the biggest medium in which it is consumed. People just don’t buy physical records in the same volumes as in prior years.

I’m 42 and I went to Voodoo Fest to see Post(I was also there to see if Axl Rose could make it through a set w/o falling out dead). He puts on a really good stage show and actually sounds pretty good singing live. I’m taking my daughter to Hangout Fest this summer and he’ll be one of the headliners there as well.

There's a girl who used to work in our office he used mess around with whenever he was in Dallas. She magically showed up to work in a Bentely a few months ago, according to my former coworkers. Girl was a solid OT 9, shows you how much money helps.
