Crap I'm thinking back to my abstract algebra class and I can't even remember a time where there was a discussion over negative zero. Maybe dividing by zero drove interesting debates but damn man.

The - sign does not carry over to the other 3. It's 3+3+3. Think 3+3-(CosX)3+3. Making 3 - would alter the equation/function. So for this example, just imagine it's 3+3-(cos90)3+3.
