Maybe if the problem wasn't horribly written in an intentionally ambiguous way, then there wouldn't be any confusion.

I think the answer is 9. Multiplication has precedence over addition & subtraction so:
3 + 3 - (3 x 0) + 3 = 9
3 + 3 - (3 x 0) + 3 = 9

My co-worker's daughter is a total frick-up, and has recently taken to FB asking for a place to live for her family, including a hubby that was laid off. She bitches about not having any money and the awful situation she is in.
