There's no profit in providing a supply if there isn't a high demand

True and their own welfare benefits cost the average taxpayer $6K a year.

Food stamps helped create walmart.

The system is fricked up, not the people who take advantage of it.

This is why it's so easy to mis-direct the anger.

It's much easier to kick the person one rung below you on the ladder instead of trying to punch up 2 rungs

im with you to an extent. People that take advantage of something have low character, but people that are playing by the rules, I have no ill will towards.... It's the ones that are making the rules and allowing something that I might deem as 'not completely right' that I have my issues with..... If that makes any sense...

Probably more so than civilians.

But SS is right. Foodstamps are a drop in the bucket what the US wastes taxpayer's money on. I never understood the outcry over such a minuscule slice of the pie and overlook the corporate welfare.

My go to example:

The US Army chief of staff sits before congress and says, "We no longer have a need for tanks. No more tanks. NO TANKS!!!!" The congressman, who's district includes the tank manufacturer, approves money for more tanks.

The assholes on the hill trading our tax money for votes is who to be mad at.

There the biggest welfare queens in history. You don't get to touch their $ but the $ you give them costs tax payers trillions. They don't need these trillions to survive It's so they can keep raising prices while not losing $. Keep your head in the sand though.

Why are you so concerned with "their" money. It's not yours, you did not earn it, and yet you are upset that they will not give it to you. "They" pay more taxes than the rest of the country combined. They do need these "trillions" of dollars to survive (not that they should have to justify having it) so that they can afford r&d and funding for future projects that will either create jobs or make their business venture go bust. How they are welfare queens is beyond me, when "they" support the welfare system.

Yeah, but we've been socially engineered to be what we are. Keep the poor dependent and build wealth with crony capitalism. The middle class are just the good little soldiers who keep the gears turning

Not liberal talk at all. I'm just not going to base my happiness on whether or not a man that's hard up can afford a red bull or not. I have a great job, great income, and am happy. Welfare is never going away. frick them. Not going to bring me down.

Several months ago I saw a hand written sign on an ICEE machine that read...

"You can NO LONGER use EBT to buy ICEES"

The last few pages have lost sight of the real issue.

Food stamps are not for luxury items. If they are truly for those in need then Red Bull would absolutely, positively, NOT be included in a list of items a person can buy. Just like cigarettes and dog food.

Food stamps aren't all they are receiving, though. The amount of all your bills is factored into how much money you receive per month. That is part of the reason why you see people in government housing driving brand new fricking Caddies and shite.

The higher the bills, the more money you get along with the more children you have, the more money you get. It is pretty easy to understand then why these bitches don't give a frick that they got 6 kids by 6 different daddies and half the time couldn't tell you who the daddy of any of them are.

A private plane is paid for by the corporation that owns it. Not tax payers. That Red Bull was paid for by us. For christs sake, at least try to keep the comparisons similar.
