SS, wouldn't it be better to limit the eligible products for EBT recipients- if it's such a low monthly amount as you say? I mean if it's only $200/ month shouldn't we be trying to stretch the money instead of buying high priced energy drinks?

I think it's less than $200 a month per person. Now, now, now, you're not counting the money for each of the kids......

Why don't you trade spots with them?

Why don't they just buy cheaper shite and use OUR tax money a little wiser. They should show a little appreciation for the hand up/hand out we are giving them.

Sadly, there are families 2, 3, maybe 4 generations into free shite. They don't know any other way to live. They think they deserve it and have no ambition to better themselves. Just eat steak and drink Red Bull on OUR dollar.

And the politicians just keep handing it out using OUR dollars to buy votes for themselves.

Free shite has bankrupted the nation and it will only get worse.

of course they should be trying to stretch that money. And actually it's less than $200 per person.... But you and I both know the person on food stamps isn't on there for making the best life decisions with money

But for anyone to think someone is 'making a living' or acting like they are living the life of luxury on any kind of welfare , especially food stamps, is being dishonest

Plus WIC
Plus section 8 housing
Plus a free phone
Plus free meals from school
Plus a fat tax return, for some fricking reason.

It's honestly impressive some of the hoops they go through to maximize their profit off of working folks.

Added up, they are living a life of comparative luxury. Look at other countries in the world. There should be no fat poor people. Here they have better than what the poor have in other countries by a mile.

It's not your money. Your government took it from you. So you can bitch about a Redbull or get involved and change something.

I tend to lean the other way. I saw a few homeless people today. I bought them turkey wings and said "God bless you. I hope you find yourself back on your feet."

I probably should have stomped the food in the ground and told them to get a job. Like a true Alpha-Baw.

i agree, it has to be like a full time job going through everything trying to keep all these freebies coming....

And to think the end result is living in the shitty situations they see themselves in with no way to ever move up in life
