36% of Americans are obese. Another 32% are over weight. That's 68% of the population. They don't give a frick if people are healthy, they are just playing the numbers to petal their product.

They realize people are not going to all of a sudden lose weight. Obesity isn't going anywhere.. So if making them feel good about themselves helps them sell product.. then thats what they will do.

Are they exercising? If so, good for them. That is indeed active.

Are they just standing around? Then no, this is not good.

Let's be honest though. I'm willing to bet the majority of the women that buy this size do it so that they can take pictures making it look like they exercise. That's a lot easier than actually exercising.
